Learn to Skate & Blade Every Saturday Certificate Programme with Qualified Coaches 9.00am - 10pm $14.00 Entry Includes Following general session (Skate/Blade Hire $4) Star Class Program

The Skateaway Star Classes are held every Saturday from 9am-10am and are suitable for all people of any age whether using roller blades or traditional quad skates. Skaters can start as young as two years old. Your Star Class Coordinator and instructors are fully qualified level 1 Accredited Roller Skating Coaches. Our team of competent instructors will ensure you learn good roller skating skills and techniques to assist you to skate in the general public sessions held regularly at Bundamba Skateaway.

We will teach you all this, while at the same time, having lots of fun and improving your skating ability.

The Skateaway Star Class Program has 4 levels, which commence at a basic skating level and then gradually progresses through to more involved technical items as you pass through each of the star tests.

New skaters to the Learn to Skate Program, will be assessed and placed in the correct level for their ability and skating skill. Every seven weeks we conduct Star Testing and the successful skaters will proceed to the next level of instruction and receive a certificate of achievement.

In some instances a skater may be in a position to be tested for more than one level at a testing session. If the skater wishes to do so, they can arrange this with their instructor before the test.
